On 3rd February 2009, the claimant was called to the office of Mr. Mike Ghasemi (Chief Executive Officer). In the presence of Siddiq, Mr. Mike shouted at the claimant and threatened him that he would start
punching his face if he argued with him.

Mr. Mike shouted at him, “With only one phone call, I can screw your life. I’m going to send somebody to you and your family. I’m going to hire a
loan shark to take care of you.”. Immediately on the same date (4.2.2009), the claimant lodged a police report at 11.10a.m regarding the said threat from Mr. Mike.

In the meantime, the claimant’s family members were being harassed by the loan sharks sent by Mr. Mike. Thus on 11th March 2009, a police report on the said harassment was lodged.

As for the remedy sought, the court is of the view that reinstatement would not be appropriate, seeing that the respondent is prone to lawless behaviour. It will instead award a monetary compensation at the rate of RM2,300.00 per month, being the claimant’s last drawn salary, multiplied by one year and eleven months being the unexpired term of the claimant’s fixed term contract of employment.

Apparently the company is in heavy debt and the owner has ran back to Iran to escape his borrowers. Many police reports have been made against him. He was previously sacked from a local company AIC due to embezzlement and abuse of company funds for personal entertainment.

Apparently he also borrowed heavily from family members and family acquaintences and has lost all the money. He is married twice and the first wife and two children from Iran have been apparently mistreated by him. Stay away from this company and guy!
